What this service is for
A secondary address can help keep one-off product trials, low-risk registrations, and test messages separate from a personal mailbox. The standard homepage generates an address on the defis.cfd domain using a name and a number from 1–100. Custom usernames may contain letters, digits, or both. The separate Locked Inbox tool generates cryptographically random alphanumeric usernames. Password Inbox lets you protect a newly created address with a unique passphrase. Locked and Password Inbox reserve only exact names in the homepage's RANDOM_NAMES list; variants such as james47 remain allowed unless blocked by a separate administrative reserved-name rule.
It is not a permanent mailbox, encrypted messaging service, account recovery channel, or guarantee of anonymity. Websites may reject temporary addresses, and standard inboxes are shared by address, while the separate Locked Inbox mode offers a short exclusive browser claim.
How we handle incoming messages
Incoming MIME messages are parsed on Cloudflare Workers. We retain a limited sender label, subject, message body content, and timestamps. We do not present HTML email as live web content, do not show remote images, and do not provide attachments for download. Messages and inactive inboxes expire according to the service’s current settings.
Security as a design practice
Browser sessions use a high-entropy token in an HttpOnly cookie. The database stores a hash of that token, not the token itself. API routes use server-side validation, prepared SQL statements, request-origin checks for state-changing requests, rate limits, and browser security headers. These controls reduce risk; they cannot make any public internet service risk-free.
What we do not promise
- We do not guarantee that any third-party website will accept a temporary address.
- We do not guarantee email delivery, timing, or sender authenticity.
- We do not recommend temporary addresses for sensitive accounts.
- We do not claim affiliation with Google, Discord, Meta, or any other third-party service mentioned in our guides.
